I do like to drink Starbucks coffee. Mainly due to the convenience. I spotted the book How Starbucks Saved my Life on my dad's nightstand over the holidays - he gladly gave it to me and described it as inspirational. I have picked it up and put it down a few times but it makes for decent reading despite how naive of a life the writer appears to have lead. Especially for a person who has lived in a large city for a great part of his life. It seems as if the Starbucks marketing department might have had a hand in this story. Halfway through and I will let you know. It isn't on the award winning side of things but gives some good insight into corporate america. I wouldn't pay much money for this book but if someone is willing to loan it to you - why not read it.
